Are there any negative side effects to taking ketones?

While taking exogenous ketones is safe, it can sometimes leave you dehydrated. That dehydration and potential loss in minerals can lead to fatigue, headaches, and constipation. If you experience these symptoms, make sure you stay well hydrated and consider replacing electrolytes to help mitigate the effects.

It is common to experience digestive upset when introducing new products and ingredients into your system. If you do experience an upset stomach, constipation, or diarrhea, consider reducing your daily dosage by half and increasing your water consumption. As those symptoms subside, slowly return to the full dosage.
