What is Sezzle? 

Sezzle is a payment solution that empowers you to “Buy Now and Pay Later” with an interest-free installment plan. Sezzle breaks down the total cost of your purchase into four smaller payments over at least six weeks. 

 

Who can use Sezzle? 

To use Sezzle, you must be 18 years or older (19 years or older in Alabama or if you are a ward of the state and live in Nebraska) and have a valid U.S. or Canadian mobile number and email address. 

 

Are there credit checks? 

If you’re worried about credit checks, don’t worry! Sezzle doesn’t qualify as a credit product per United States regulations (Reg Z), so there is no “Hard Credit Check” processed. However, Sezzle does look at your credit score as part of a risk check. This does not have an impact on your credit - this is often referred to as a “Soft Check.” They use this information to help approve you for Sezzle, verify your identity, and help minimize fraud risk. 

 

Why is Sezzle not showing as a payment option during checkout?

  • Your cart total should be over $75.
  • Your order must include at least 1 physical product. Orders that only contain digital products, (eg. event tickets or memberships) are not valid for Sezzle.
  • Within the last 10 days you have attempted a PayPal or Sezzle payment that has not been completed. Go to Manage -> Order History in the Prüvit Cloud to complete or cancel such orders, then try again.

 

Will this affect my commissions and bonuses? 

You will not see any changes to your commission and bonus payout. Refunds will have the same effect on commissions as regular credit card refunds.

 

Can I use it for SmartShips? 

Yes! If you are new to Sezzle, Sezzle will like to establish a history with you before setting up monthly recurrent payments. After you establish a good history (making scheduled payments and paying off balances), on your next order you can select SmartShips for future purchases. 

 

When do I make my first payment? 

Your first payment is due at the time of checkout. During checkout, you will be told exactly how much will be charged, which can be as little as 25% of the total order cost. 

 

There are interest free payments? What’s the catch? 

There is no catch! Sezzle is completely interest-free for shoppers. The only fees you might encounter are failed payment fees or rescheduled payment fees. Sezzle will send text and email reminders to try and prevent any fees from occurring. 

 

Oops. What happens if I miss a re-payment? 

Life happens - we understand! We chose to partner with Sezzle because they understand this too. 

Sezzle allows you to reschedule payments. Each order comes with one free reschedule, and then the ability to reschedule two more times for a $5 fee. We recommend rescheduling as soon as you know you need to (at least 48 hours in advance), because once payment has started processing it cannot be changed.
